The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and the Department of Chemistry offer an interdepartmental Master of Science degree in Environmental and Chemical Sciences. The graduate program has three areas of concentration: Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Chemistry/Environmental Science Education. The degree plans for each concentration are listed below. |

All courses toward the degree must be approved by the major professor and the coordinator of the program. At least half the number of courses taken in either the thesis or non thesis option must be courses numbered above 600. Also, a candidate is required to pass satisfactorily a comprehensive written and/or oral examination in the area of concentration. |
